SATA install

Another important question, i wanna change my IDE hard disk to a SATA one, fedora C2 could be installed in a SATA hard drive? i have a sillicon image chip to control sata, i need precharge some drivers to install fedora on it? Thanks for the help, i hope i can help new people in near future ;P
