Unable to mount dvd's ?

Hi all,

I received my Novell Technical Resource Kit, with 3 dvd's. One of them 
is bootable and works perfectly. But I can't use the others :S. It seems 
the default Fedora Core 2 kernel doesn't have DVD-support:

[root localhost linux]# mount /mnt/dvd
mount: filesystem 'subfs' not supported by kernel

Is the only way to use the dvd's recompiling the kernel ?
