2 Simple Questions Please

1. Anyone got an idea how to revert FE2 back to the boot display
sequence as was in Red hat 9 instead of the "new and improved"
x window interface display during start up?  

2. Where can I change in Kornor when it is in File Manager
mode so it does not always start displaying the Read me file.
I would prefer it to start at "/" instead of this HTML file.
