subscription?

I've been subscribed to this list for about six months. I have occasionally been
able to get good advice from list members and am in general happy to get the
digests.
Recently, not for the first time, I wanted to ask for help and sent mail to this
address - "fedora-list redhat com" - and the mail bounced, apparently because I
am not recognised as a subscriber. I tried to resubscribe only to find I was
already subscribed; I got a message indicating that the resubcription attempt
might be because of a "bad person" up to hijinks.
Well, on the whole, I'd rather just have my mail get delivered. Has anyone else
had this problem? Do you know why it happens?
Dave
