Do you know if rsync can back up to cdr/cdrw, and if so, will it handle
multiple volumes?
I believe mondorescue http://www.microwerks.net/~hugo/ does
cdrw/dvd-rw backups pretty well.
I've just tried using rsnapshot http://www.rsnapshot.org/ which is
rsync based backup. I like the fact that backups are incremental as
far as disk usage - but each snapshot is - complete for future
recovery (unchanged files are preserved with multiple hard links
across snapshots). However this doesn't do complete system recovery -
so I sould get mondorescue working.
I'm hoping for a complete solution with a USB external HDD for storing
backups (with incremental backups).
