Default icons changed by themselves for unknown reason

Sometimes when booted into desktop initially, the redhat icon on control 
panel replaced by a big foot print
and on desktop icons of Computer and Start Here are replaced by icons of 
blank paper, any has a clue how
to fix this - It didn't happen everytime but sometimes randomly.
