Hi mate
I have FC2 running on a Adaptec SCSI 19160 connected to a SCSI HD.  I 
found that updating the Adaptec SCSI bios/firmware on the card helped.  
Also In the PC bios I set the primary chain detection to SCSI instead 
of the default IDE.  I also updated the PC bios to the latest firmware.
