There must be some setup in place for the camera.
Doing the same for a usb stick looks straightforward:

I personally prefer the manual mount.
A colleague here on FC1 had problem with flashing
keyboard and screen when he inserted the usb stick.
Turns out, it has a non-std filesystem. Reformatting
it as fat32 solves the problem.
