1152x864 resolution, monitor complains

Hello,

I am running Fedora 2 and use KDS Rad 5-x. Monitor handles resolution up to 1024x768, but on Fedora it looks more line 800x600 -- everything is big. I tried to set resolution to 1152x864 and video card handles it and I can see this resolution, but my monitor complains "out of range." I tried using higher vertical and horizontal frequencies, but no help. Is there a way I can override this message from Linux or there is nothing I can do?
