Desktop links to sftp://servers

Hi all,   

   I have a link to a server on my desktop (via sftp), and now I want 
to edit that link so when I double click I am dropped in the correct 
directory on the remote server.  Properties on the link only allows me 
to change the permissions and emblem which are something I'll use maybe 
once a month :)
The only other option given when right clicking the link is 'Unmount 
Volume'.

Any ideas?
