a colleague who just installed FC2 on a latitude CPi -- custom install,
being selective about the packages although, sadly, not sure which ones he
picked at this point -- can't get pcmcia to work so he can get on the
network.
i just tried to run cardmgr, and got "no sockets found!". does this
mean he failed to install some critical PCMCIA-related package?
running "cardctl ident" generates
open_sock(): No such device
which i've never run into before. i have to assume there's some really
important rpm that didn't make it onto the system. thoughts?
