I was pointing out the patently difficult option of protecting a single
application or more within an account while allowing a casual user to
use the account, and suggested several simple steps with reasons for
using them.
Locking screens, logging off, and using different accounts for simple
security measures are simple habits and much easier than writing some
sort of wrapper to do what he has asked for and in general will not
easily provide any level of security for the application unless done by
an expert..
He said he was aware of the built in security, then in the next
sentence said it was too difficult to use that and wants ways he can do
things that are much harder.
This thread has gone on for several days with almost everyone pointing
out the difficulty of doing it the way he wants and pointing out some of
the many things he would have to do to even come close to a reasonable
security under his approach. My suggestions are much easier and more
effective.
