Well, presumably you have done an up2date or yum update, since you no
longer have the default base kernel packages.

If this was done properly, the kernel entries in grub.conf SHOULD have
been updated as well.

Thus, when you reboot and get the grub menu up on the screen, you should
be able to select from a choice of kernels. 2174 should be one of them.

Select 2174 and boot.
