Dear Nino,

Try here...
http://cvs.sourceforge.net/viewcvs.py/speedtouch/speedtouch/doc-linux/howto/
This may get you going in the right direction......

  Dear James Kosin, thanks.

The problem is that I don't know which information are necessary :( ! (and
English isn't my mother language). Even so I noticed that your 'general'
solutions usually help me!

Anyway, after creating a user I tried to launch my modem (speedtouch), the
file is in /etc/init.d and it has -rwxr-xr-x permissions.

Thanks for your attention.

Ciao,
Nino
