The distribution uses
	rpm --install kernel-2.6.2-2.1.253.2.1.src.rpm
	cd /usr/src/redhat/SPECS
	rpmbuild -ba --target i686 kernel-2.6.spec

If you do _anything_ else, then you aren't doing _exactly_ what
the distribution does.
