boot problem.... might be ext3 corruption

Hi


For no reason I can't boot anymore. I get messages like:

/etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit: line 88: /dev/null: read-only file system

Setting Clock...... dup2: bad file descriptor


The boot falls into a rescue prompt... i tried to do a fsck.ext3 
/dev/hda4 but everything is fine
I even forced the check but nothing wrong appeard...

What could it be?
