Just updated to Fedora, won't boot in SMP

To me , it looks like you've hit a well known bug related to SMP
stability... I've forgotten the bug id , but it usually happens during
mount/unmount operations on SMP systems...
Some people have reported better results using a kernel compiled from
the pristine sources from kernel.org...
