This card is not detected (it worked on FC1). Have tried the "modprobe
yenta_socket" fix, but to no good. Usually nothing at all happens when
card is inserted. But at one point (not reproducible) "cs" is probing
memory but excluding parts, e.g. (from log-file),
kernel: cs: memory probe 0x60000000-0x60ffffff: excluding
0x60000000-0x60ffffff
kernel: cs: warning: no high memory space available!
After this it concludes with:
kernel: cs: unable to map card memory!
kernel: cs: unable to map card memory!
cardmgr[2383]: socket 1: Anonymous Memory
kernel: cs: unable to map card memory!
last message repeated 3 times
cardmgr[2383]: executing: 'modprobe memory_cs 2>&1'
cardmgr[2383]: + FATAL: Module memory_cs not found.
cardmgr[2383]: modprobe exited with status 1
cardmgr[2383]: module /lib/modules/2.6.5-1.358/pcmcia/memory_cs.o not
available
I'm lost here, if anyone could shed some light on this I would be grateful.
Thanks,
/j
