Hi People,
I have just downloaded the Fedora Core 2.
I must say it’s a great system(I used only Suse until now).
I have two Problems.
When I attach my USB stick it gets recognised and mounted(hotplug service).
That’s Ok but when I plug it out and again in nothing happens.
When I look at the log (/var/log/messages) the hotplug scripts runs but
when I click on the stick on my screen there is nothing, and I can not
start anything from the stick.
Is this a normal behaviour or did I something wrong?
The second thing is, is there a Application that can handle something
like the autorun function. I muss execute a script on plugin off the USB
Stick. I made a script called “usb-storage” under /etc/hotplug/usb/ but
the hotplug service is ignoring it(I don’t know why).
I know there is a application called “gnome volume manager” but I didn’t
found it in the system and is not being developed any more.
Can someone help me please?
Thank You
Dalibor Malek
