i've tried jpilot and is ok!
not really sure what gnome-pilot-conduits is. i installed it, but...
don't see the difference.
instead, since i upgraded from kernel 2.6.8 to 2.6.9 the palm pilot does
not sync anymore. i'm using the same settings:
ln -s /dev/ttyUSB1 /dev/pilot
as before and it's not communicating. i tried w/ different ports:
/dev/ttyUSB0; /dev/ttyUSB2; /dev/ttyS0; /dev/ttyS1
but still nothing. when i do:
[root localhost dl]# pilot-xfer -p /dev/pilot -L
Listening to port: /dev/pilot
Please press the HotSync button now...
and it waits... any ideas..
