That is no Fedora Core package. This is a Dag Wieers package.

Does not match the FC2 update package version. The current FC2 package
is dovecot-0.99.10.5-0.FC2.

Does that happen to occur with the Fedora Core package too? The Fedora
Core package has a patch to modify the default locking setting:

should submit a bugzilla entry if none with that problem is already
