First, thanks for the assistance. I had "hosed" my .bash_profile file
as Jeremy Gladdis so eloquently put it! :-) I forgot the $.

This helped. Of course, I had to put a couple of other 'bin''s in
there, like /usr/sbin and /bin to get vi to work so that I could edit
the .bash_profile file. However, I'm back up and running again.
