FC4 - smartd and NFS locking Failed on startup

[Bisi]

On startup the following demons failed:

smartd
NFS locking

In addition, I also get ACPI BIOS age (2000) fails
cutoff, acpi=force is required to enable ACPI. 

Finally, on startup I also get the following messages:
agpgart = Unable to determine aperture size.

Any help to resolve these problems will be
appreciated.
