Adding printer in FC4 - radical suggestion

In system-config-printer there is a checkbox that supposedly tell the config 
to not automatically browse the printers available on network. I tried that 
and it didn't work. My system-config-printer keeps browsings other printers 
that I don't want to set up. It's really annoying.
