Hi Mogens,

It was the default in xorg.conf.  I've since thought to run
system-config-display and rather than having "Unkown Monitor" I
changed it to "LCD Panel 1024x768" and it wrote another xorg.conf
file: http://kold.homelinux.com/m30x/xorg.conf.new

I can't test it until to night as I did all this remotely on the
machine at home.  It did however change those values to:

HorizSync    31.5 - 48.5
VertRefresh  40.0 - 70.0

I'll try it tonight and report back with any errors.
