Delay on Boot Up when X starts

Hi all!

I am using Fedora Core 3 on a:

Intel Celeron 2,6Ghz
512MB RAM
NVIDIA GeForce4 mx440 AGP 8x
SiS SI7012 Sounddevice
SiS963
SiS96x SM Bus
SiS648 Chipset
SiS5513 Chipset
SiS 962/963 MuTIOL IDE UDMA133 Controller

When I boot my System, after X starts, I have a delay of 1min till I see
the Bootsplash!
The xorg.log and looks fine and also in the /var/log/messages is no
problem to find!
It doesnt matter if I use FC4 or FC3, after a few restarts the same
problem appears and my system is also not stable anymore!
Also with or without the NVIDIA-Driver does not matter, the same problem
shows up!
I really do not know what to do anymore!
Did anybody else had the same problem and know how to solve it?
Or somebody can tell me where the problem could found be or where I can
start looking for it?
