Right, I'm sorry, I meant "The /usr/lib files do indeed exist:...". I
suppose my main question is then: how do I make python look in
/usr/lib instead of /usr/local/lib? I am, after all, using python
from /usr/bin and not /usr/local/bin:
[root at mjumbewu ~]# which python
/usr/bin/python
[root at mjumbewu ~]#
