I tried to install FC 4 on an AMD XP 3200, and the machine dies at boot, after the kernel loads (it hangs - even ctrl-alt-del doesn't work). I installed FC 3, then upgraded the system with YUM. Bizarrely, FC 4 boots and works just fine when I use the FC 3 kernels. Try a FC 4 kernel and it dies. Any advice?? thanks
