Common Folder for all users

You might be able to add the folder to a group common to all users, then 
use ln /common/folder ~/ourfolder and it should be linked to 
/home/user/ourfolder (Never tried, it just sounds to me like it would work)

It is probably better to just add a directory under /usr/share/ourfolder 
and add these people to the group.
