Installing standard analog joystick on FC4, Kernel 2.6

Hi
I am using FC4 and I cannot find evtest. I can locate a udevtest but
from reading the man page I am not sure if it is the same thing.

When I tried using it, just repeats what it expects as an input.

Where can I find evtest?
