Scanner detected in root

[Ferrero Horacio]

I'm using Fedora Core 3

The scanner has been installed by Fedora itself

The first time I was surprised to not find the scanner on programs using
it. By error in a root terminal I said xsane & I was surprised that
xsane found the scanner at the beginning..
