There is no doubt at all, the best is MailScanner 
(http://www.mailscanner.info) that you can use to check for Viruses AND spams 
with tools like SpamAssassin an many AntiViruses like ClamAV, MacAffee, 
Sophos... ans is VERY Easy to configure via vi directly or with a GUI and 
Webmin for example: (http://sourceforge.net/projects/msfrontend)
I use it for more than 3 years with GREAT PLEASURE AND SUCCESS !!!
