FC4 : Mplayer error

hi
i installed Mplayer rpms from http://rpm.pbone.net/ and all required
rpms for it, it is installed successfully, but when i play any movie i
get this error
¨ Erro opening/initializing the selected video_out (-vo) device ¨
can anyone help me with this problem and tell me what may cause it plz ?
anyhelp would be appreciated
