cyrus-imapd and dovecot

a) in /etc/imapd.conf
sasl_pwcheck_method: saslauthd
sasl_mech_list: PLAIN

b) saslauthd uses shadow by default; if unsure about changes check
/etc/sysconfig/saslauthd
