You use grub to double boot fedora and WinXP. 
For example a grub.conf might be as follows:

        initrd /boot/initrd-2.6.14-1.1637_FC4.img

        rootnoverify (hd0,0)
        chainloader +1

The last two lines refer to the Windows boot.
