Hi,
I'm using fedora core 4, with the KDE desktop. Suppose I am in runlevel
3, and run "startx". I would like to have a list of all files accessed
between those two points in time.
replying to my own msg for archives...'strace' (and following children)
worked fairly well, although it aborts now and again, or freezes the
startup. most of the time is makes it all the way to the desktop, if i
limit tracing to 'open'.
