rpmdb segmentation fault

I'm running fedora core 3 (2.6.12-1.1378_FC3).  i noticed yum started giving me a lot of segmentation faults, so i did some looking around and discovered that rpmdb was giving segmentation faults.  I've looked as far as I know how, and googled quite a bit, but I'm stuck.  Here's some output:

**yum** (note: yum segfaults in the same place 90% of the time, sometimes earlier.)
