can not start FC4 installation

Hello,

I am trying to install FC4 on ASUS A6706UUH notebook. The processor is AMD
Sempron 3000+ i.e. 1.8GHz and RAM 224MB.

When i start installtion after pressing enter, the installation says

VFS: can not mount append proper "root=" option.

then system hangs

I tried to install by using command,

linux mem=224M noprobe

but same thing happend.

Can anyone get me out of this bug?

I have installed FC4 before, but never encountered such a problem.
