Universal Control Center

Hi! I've been using linux since '03 and have experimented with various
distributions. I noticed that very few distros have a single control
center for EVERYTHING (Xandros). I think that is what fedora/redhat
could use. I know that as a new user, running into GNOME control center
(gnome 2.4), KDE control center, AND the system's control center (like
Yast on suse or mandrakeconf on Mandrake/Mandriva) can be very
confusing. Would there be any way to incorporate all of the desktop
(kde/gnome) config and all of the system-config-* stuff from redhat?
Xandros does a good job putting it all under the kde control center as
modules, and Suse tries (at least under 9.x) with yast directory. With
fedora/redhat, though, there are the different things under the
'Administration' menu. As a former Windoze user, having a single control
center for display stuff and admin stuff is ideal. Any thoughts on the
subject?
