kernel panic on dell poweredge 1500sc

Hi all,

I can't get FC5 or FC6 2.6.18 kernels to work on my Dell Poweredge 
1500sc system. I get a kernel panic, and a message about "not syncing". 
(Sorry for the vagueness, the error messages zoom past, and making the 
system work has been the priority rather than crashing it again).

It worked fine with 2.6.17 kernels. There is a Dell/Adaptec SCSI array 
in the server, using software RAID.

Does this ring a bell for anyone?

I'll try to get a better error message, when the server is available for 
crash tests again...
