NIS Alias Maps

Good morning,

My NIS server is Solaris 8 on a E450 and all is good but I can't seem to
get FC3 to pickup and use the NIS alias maps?  I've changed
/etc/nsswitch.conf to say 'aliases: nis files" and it's not working?
What am I missing?
