Ok, I checked this out and indeed this is power saving feature. But
one poster pointed out the applet in:
emifreq-applet-0.18.tar.gz
I can't get it to work. The INSTALL instructions said the applet would
be installed in /usr/local/bin which it isn't, that there would be a
man page produced, which there is not, so I am confused how to use
this applet. Any advice?
