Yes, it hangs only when i run it as root.

 

My application needs certain functionalities, which can only be delegated to it, when run as root. Hence i have to do all the development as the root, and run Eclipse as root also.

There was a bug in FC4 gij that was fixed in an update that caused it to
hang when running as root.  Are you running as root?
