kmail: mysterious message

I was running kmail on a remote machine,
and got the error message (or warning)
"QFile::writeBlock: Write operation not permitted".

Does anyone have any idea what this means,
and if it matters?
As far as I could see, kmail worked fine.

I'm thinking of starting a campaign
to Eliminate Incomprehensible Error Messages in Linux.
