Thank you for your help. I got this far:
[root at corefive ~]# mkinitrd /boot/initrd-2.6.16-1.2122_FC5smp.img
2.6.16-1.2122_FC5smp
No dep file found for kernel 2.6.16-1.2122_FC5smp
What am I missing?
