You're out of my realm at this point.  I never played with AD nor
looked at working PAM into subversion.  Hopefully someone else here
can offer some ideas or pointers.

Using DAV, you can use any auth mechanism available to Apache.  That
may help in finding a way to integrate SVN into your environment.

My use is limited to web browsers and the subversion command line
client.  I would hope that most clients would support either, but I'm
not crazy enough to bet on that being the case.  It might be easiest
to check what clients are in use (if you can) and then see if they
support either.
