I don't know what you're on about to be honest. I have yet to see an FC4 
or FC5 (i386) box for which the JPackage method does *not* work:
http://www.city-fan.org/tips/JpackageJava

For x86_64, there is no browser plugin, so I wouldn't expect that to work.
