Problems Printing with FC5

[Lovell Mcilwain]

 I am trying to print directly to an HP printer via jetdirect but I
don't seem to be having any luck.

I have tried priting to the following:
HP 8000
HP 8150
HP 4200

Any time I try to print I get the following message:

There was a problem sending CUPS test page to printer queue:
/usr/bin/lpr: Connection Refused

When I said no to the test print confirmation this is what came up after it:

/usr/lib/cups/backend/socket (PID 3849) for job 6.

Can anyone give me any ideas on how to fix this?  Or even other printing
alternatives will work.
