Most of my gear is connected through the switches.  One complication was the 
need to extend the LAN where it was simply impossible to run more cables, 
which was why the second router/A/P was added.  I have to say that I'm not 
always certain that I have got the port forwarding sorted properly where it 
has to pass through both, which could be part of my azureus problem.

Since ISPs are offering greater speeds now I do wonder whether it is time for 
a complete hardware review for the LAN.  Seems to me that there's not much 
point in paying for a 2GB connection if all our hardware can only handle 
100MB.  However, if I need wireless as well that would have to be additional 
routers, by the look of it.

Life gets complicated, don't it?  ;-)
