Has anyone tested whether Fedora Core 5 and Windows XP can be on the

Thanks,

Windows is set to take all of the disk coming from the computer vendor.
It is possible to run Linux and Windows using one hard drive and has
been possible for a very long time.
Windows needs to use less of the space on the hard disk to allow for
Linux to be able to use the unallocated space.
Both systems use different file systems and other than umdos, I believe,
they need different partitons set aside for each operating system.
There are disk partitioning tools for both Windows use and for Linux
use. Check for Windows partitioning tools or find a Linux distribution
that can run for disk that has Linux partitioning tools.
After you shrink the Windows allocation for disk space, Linux will setup
the unpartitioned space and even attempt to add a menu choice to boot
the other OS.
